This grip slides onto stainless and secured with a 10-24 screw into a hole pre drilled into the stainless tube. The grip is made form PETG (similar to Starboard) and uses a brass insert to accept the 316 stainless screw. Primary application is for tensioning cross bars on Bimini tops.
